Dr. Pasiotis has over 7 years of regulatory toxicology experience, working for both government and industry. She has a comprehensive knowledge of EU toxicology risk assessment with respect to pesticides, biocides, and REACH. Dr. Pasiotis provides advice on toxicology programmes; unusual findings in toxicology studies, cases, and opinions for consideration by regulators; and toxicology sections for dossiers. She also performs human risk assessments and study monitoring, as well as preparing data gaps analyses, following on the experience she gained at her previous position at APC Ltd, where she spent more than 3 years working as a Regulatory Toxicology consultant.
Prior to entering consultancy, Dr Pasiotis spent three years at the Greek regulatory authority (Benaki Phytopathological Institute), where she was involved in the evaluation, authorization, and classification & labelling of active substances and products according to Dir. 91/414/EEC (later Reg EC 1107/2009), Dir. 98/8/EC (later Reg EU 528/2012) and Reg EC 1272/2008, respectively.
