Ms. Yamin gained her bachelor’s degree in Medical Biochemistry in 2007 from the University of Birmingham and a master’s degree in Toxicology in 2008 from the same institution. Ms. Yamin is a UK and European Registered Toxicologist and her expertise lies in the evaluation of safety for formulated consumer products.

At Exponent, Ms. Yamin works within the Cosmetic Safety and Regulatory Affairs team consulting on the safety of cosmetic products and cosmetic ingredients. She has over 7 years’ experience of producing Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs) in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and provides safety and regulatory advice to cosmetic manufacturers and retailers based in the UK and worldwide.

Prior to joining Exponent, Ms. Yamin worked extensively in the toxicological risk assessment of formulated toy products, household and cleaning products and biocides. She has experience in the global regulatory requirements of formulated consumer products and spent time working in Hong Kong helping to set up a regional office.
