Mr. Martinez has over three years of experience in management of construction and utilities projects. He has worked as a project manager, assistant project manager, and project engineer on different types of construction projects from commercial tenant improvements to MEP infrastructure renovations. 

Mr. Martinez has experience leading multidisciplinary teams and has been involved in all stages of projects, from conceptual planning to closeout.

At Exponent, Mr. Martinez provides project management services to a major utility client on its electric transmission construction programs. His projects involve electric transmission facilities relocations, generation-site interconnections, and substation decommissioning. Mr. Martinez oversees all stages of the project lifecycle, develops and maintains resource-loaded schedules, forecasts costs, mitigates project risk, coordinates with third-party customers and project team members, and produces project status reporting.

Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Martinez spent two years at Turner Construction, working on a range of large-scale projects including MEP infrastructure, medical facilities, and commercial tenant improvements. He managed the successful commissioning of 40 HVAC units and an emergency generator of a commercial high-rise building while also performing project controls and assisting in project engineering. Mr. Martinez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, with a minor in Business from Cornell University in 2017.
