Jason is a Board Certified (DABT) and EU Registered Toxicologist (ERT). He has 17 years' experience working in Consultancy, Industry and Contract Research settings with a particular focus on Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART).  

Since graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan University (formerly University of Wales Institute Cardiff) with a degree in Science in Health, Exercise and Sport in 2004, Jason was employed as a Toxicologist/Study Director at Sequani Limited for nearly 8 years, as a Technical Expert/DART Study Manager within the Toxicology and Health Science Platform at Syngenta Limited for approximately 6 years and latterly as a Senior and Principal Toxicologist at Penman Consulting for 4 years.

He is the past-Chair of the UK IRDG (Industrial Reprotoxicity Discussion Group) and also an active member of the British Toxicology Society ETCD (Education Training and Career Development) Sub-Committee. He is currently the Vice-President of the European Teratology Society (ETS), and also a member of the Society of Toxicology, Teratology Society and the Royal Society of Biology. He is also an editorial board member of the Reproductive Toxicology journal and on the ETS/HESI Taskforce for Thyroid Hormones and ETS taskforce for Rabbit GI Tract Toxicity. In addition, he's currently providing input to 8 HESI DART Committees for various areas in DART. His specific expertise is in the following disciplines :- General Toxicology, QSAR, Read-Across, Carcinogenicity, Endocrine Disruption, REACH, PPP, Developmental and Reproduction Toxicology (DART), EOGRTS, Juvenile Toxicology (Rodent and Non-Rodent Models) and Neuro-Behavioural Assessments.

He's conducted and managed an extensive number of non-clinical toxicity studies across multiple toxicology disciplines (DART, Juvenile Toxicology, General Toxicology, Carcinogenicity, Genotoxicity and Acute Toxicology) for a variety of indications/uses including Biologicals, Pharmaceuticals, Agrochemicals, and Industrial Chemicals for either Regulatory, Investigative or Mechanistic Toxicology.
