Dr. Grant is a cognitive psychologist with expertise in human perception, language processing and decision making. Her work focuses on how different communication techniques can shape subsequent decision making in domains ranging from preventative healthcare choices to negotiation. Dr. Grant has over eight years of experience in designing and implementing experimental studies in a range of different countries worldwide. She is also skilled in handling large data sets including data visualization, data analysis, and predictive modelling using machine learning techniques. Throughout her career, she has presented her research to both academic and professional audiences and has published her findings in leading psychology journals. Since joining Exponent, Dr. Grant has focused her work on human factors issues including driver behavior and the science of safety information communication.
