Dr. Leigh Grant specializes in human factors investigations focused on visual perception, perception-response time, information and language processing, memory, risk perception, and decision-making. She has applied her expertise to the investigation and analysis of transportation accidents, premises matters, and consumer product-related incidents. Dr. Grant has additionally provided warning evaluation and design guidance, assessing the extent to which warnings and safety information accompanying products on product labels, user manuals, and instructions are consistent with guidance from sources such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z535 series as well as product-specific standards. She has also conducted consumer product injury and risk assessments using data from sources such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NEISS).
