Agricultural expert joins Chemical Regulation & Food Safety practice in Washington, DC
Exponent is pleased to welcome agrochemical, biological science and regulatory expert Bonnie MacCulloch to our Washington, D.C., office as a senior managing scientist in the Chemical Regulation & Food Safety practice. Ms. MacCulloch is a seasoned regulatory strategist and leader in the agrochemical sciences, with a strong record of advancing sustainable and biological crop protection innovations.
For more than 20 years, Ms. MacCulloch has served as a scientific and regulatory consultant to many of the world's leading agrochemical companies. She specializes in regulatory intelligence and policy monitoring; state, federal, and international registrations; organic certification and Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) compliance; technical data gap analysis and dossier preparation; label development and claims substantiation; biostimulant and fertilizer regulatory pathways; and advancing emerging technologies.
Before joining Exponent, Ms. MacCulloch held several leadership roles directing regulatory strategies for biopesticides, biostimulants, fertilizers, and conventional crop protection products. Her work has included global registration strategies, regulatory submissions, and product lifecycle management and stewardship across state agencies, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), and other international regulatory bodies.
Ms. MacCulloch's background uniquely combines hands-on scientific research, field and biological monitoring, and deep regulatory expertise, fueling a career dedicated to advancing innovation, sustainability, and compliance in agrochemical and biorational technology and food safety.
Ms. MacCulloch earned a Master of Science degree in environmental and forest biology, with a concentration in entomology, from the State University of New York, Syracuse, College of Environmental Science & Forestry and a Bachelor of Science in environmental interpretation from the University of Maine, Orono.
