Exponent Engineers Awarded Senior Membership to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

Drs. Alex Kattamis, Adam Sorini and Jay Prigmore, in Exponent's Electrical Engineering and Computer Science practice, have been awarded the grade of Senior membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). They were inducted at the senior member panel meeting in August 2017.

Senior member is the highest grade for which IEEE members can apply. To be eligible for application or nomination, candidates must:

  • Be engineers, scientists, educators, technical executives, or originators in IEEE-designated fields
  • Have experience reflecting professional maturity
  • Have been in professional practice for at least ten years
  • Show significant performance over a period of at least five of their years in professional practice
