Exponent welcomes Dr. Tucker to our Bellevue office, where she brings extensive emergency medicine and healthcare industry expertise to Exponent's Health Sciences practice
We are pleased to welcome Kristine Tucker, M.D., M.S., FACEP, to Exponent as a principal scientist in our Health Sciences practice. Dr. Tucker is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and toxicologist with experience spanning clinical medicine, scientific consulting, academic instruction, and research. Her multidisciplinary background enables her to evaluate complex questions involving clinical medicine, disease and injury causation, chemical exposures and risk, and medical and emergency healthcare.
Emergency medicine and toxicology consulting
Dr. Tucker has practiced emergency medicine in academic and community hospital settings across Washington, Maine, and Oregon. Her prior experience includes caring for patients in emergency departments such as Level 1 trauma centers, stroke centers, and critical access hospitals, training as a Life Flight physician, and holding academic instructional and clinical appointments in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center and Madigan Army Medical Center. She brings this expertise to her current consulting career, where her combination of clinical medicine and medical and emergency room treatment positions her to assess complex matters involving patient healthcare, including standards of practice, disease and injury causation, potential chemical, biological, or drug exposures, and poly-pharmaceutical/co-chemical exposure evaluations.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Tucker has extensive experience in toxicology and scientific consulting. This combination of clinical and toxicological expertise positions her to support clients in need of a wide range of disease, adverse health, or injury evaluation support.
"I am excited to bring my clinical and toxicology expertise to Exponent to contribute to impactful work that advances positive outcomes worldwide."
