Mr. Ball is a construction management executive with over 45 years of experience in hands-on field construction, field engineering, project controls, project management, change management, delay and cost claim analysis, claim presentation, and adjudication of construction project disputes. He has assisted and guided project teams to successfully execute the planning, costing, building, and resolution of changes and disputes associated with approximately $15B of construction projects. 

Mr. Ball has managed contractor teams on complex commercial projects, including signature projects like the Kuala Lumpur City Centre Tower. Mr. Ball's experience ranges from hands-on craftwork to profit-loss responsibilities on multimillion-dollar construction projects and over 20 years of managing an independent consulting enterprise. Throughout his career, Mr. Ball has worked as a manager in all aspects of construction management, including field craftwork, field engineering, estimating, CPM scheduling, contracts, procurement, change management, and project management. Mr. Ball has served on the American Arbitration Association Commercial Panel for over 24 years. He has also served as a lead manager and expert witness in resolving multi-million dollar claims on numerous projects.

Mr. Ball has provided consulting support services to owners, developers, insurance and bonding companies, designers, contractors, and attorneys, including preventative claims management and construction claims preparation and rebuttal services. Mr. Ball has provided services in various industry sectors, including residential, multifamily, commercial, education, medical, civil-heavy, transportation, power, petrochemical, industrial, military, and marine.

Mr. Ball's domestic and international construction experience includes US embassy hardening projects and new embassy facilities; multiple educational ((K-12 new and renovations (including single-prime and multi-prime projects)) as well as university projects (administration, housing, library, classrooms and laboratories); medical facilities (new clinics, renovations and hospital expansions); highway & transportation projects (highway widening, bridges, light rail, bus / rail maintenance facilities, subway expansions, airport runway and terminal expansion); power projects include (submarine transmission, co-gen facilities, coal-fired power plant, historic hydro-electric power facility renovation and the new Bi-Pole HV converter station installation); industrial projects include petrochemical processing and wastewater treatments facilities, military missile testing and missile defense facilities, and historic renovation of the TVA Ocoee Hydro Flume, the Morris Island Lighthouse stabilization and repairs of the WWII USS North Carolina and the WWI and WWII USS Texas.

In addition to providing proactive and reactive construction project management, change management, dispute resolution services, and expert testimony, Mr. Ball has managed client support staff and experts in reactive litigation matters, including construction management standard of care, schedule delay, and cost damage claims. Mr. Ball has researched, analyzed, prepared, and presented expert reports. Client counsel has routinely designated and proffered Mr. Ball as an expert in construction management, project costing, project controls, Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, and schedule delay. Panels, courts, and boards have accepted him as an expert in construction management, cost engineering, planning, scheduling, and delay analysis. Mr. Ball has given multiple pre-hearing / pre-trial depositions and testified in the New York State Supreme Court, North Carolina Superior Court, a USASBCA Judge in a DART Dispute Resolution Hearing, and multiple American Arbitration Association commercial panels.
