Ishrat Sultana has 15 years of professional experience in handling complex and dynamic regulatory framework for specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, plant health products, nutrition and public health products.

Ms. Sultana has successfully handled registration of several products under the regulatory domain of EU REACH and Classification, Labelling & Packaging (CLP), U.S. Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), Globally Harmonized System (GHS), U.S. Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), Canada Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) Pest Control Products Act (PCPA), and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) food contact regulations. She has extensive experience handling global registrations encompassing several countries such as Canada, U.S.A., E.U., Asia and Africa. Ms. Sultana is also a product stewardship professional with expertise in the preparation of safety data sheets (SDS), labels and risk assessment reports of chemicals as per REACH requirements and vector control products as per WHO guidelines. She specializes in effective regulatory strategy preparation for innovative products and project management. With a master's degree in chemistry, Ms. Sultana combines her educational background and industry experience to successfully navigate the complexities of product registration leading to market access and a competitive advantage.

Ms. Sultana has extensive experience in registering conventional pesticides and antimicrobials with PMRA and the U.S. EPA. She is proficient in interacting with regulatory authorities and agencies, including Canada PMRA, U.S. EPA, U.S. FDA, E.U. ECHA and other Government authorities to respond to queries/deficiencies related to product dossier submissions. 

Ms. Sultana has registered more than 100 products under E.U. REACH regulation, both as full active substances and intermediates. She has the experience of establishing compliant supply chain systems and successfully facilitating REACH audits of ECHA.

Ms. Sultana has the expertise of registering long lasting insecticidal bed nets (LLINs) and other public health vector control products globally. She has worked closely with the United Nations and associated organizations to meet their sustainability development goals. She is an expert in preparing risk assessment reports of LLIN products as per WHO/FAO guidelines.

Ms. Sultana also has the experience of establishing Integrated management systems within chemical and agrochemical organizations. This experience includes quality management system and Responsible care management system (RC 14001) with good command over preparing Standard Operating Procedures along with their tracking system.
