Mr. Saxena is a construction management professional with over 3½ years of experience in cost estimation, project controls and financial management across civil, structural, transportation, transit and commercial projects. He develops accurate budgets, analyzes and manages cost variances and optimizes schedules to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining cost certainty and accountability for stakeholders. He is skilled in preparing detailed cost estimates, competitive bid proposals and data driven budgets for projects, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with project goals. Additionally, Mr. Saxena is experienced in contract review, change order management and risk mitigation.

Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Saxena worked for an infrastructure company based in Massachusetts where he led estimation efforts, performed bottom-up quantity take-offs for multi-disciplinary projects, analyzed vendor and subcontractor bids while developing procurement strategies. He also utilized cost managementand scheduling processes and tools to monitor progress of multiple infrastructure projects, performed cashflow analysis and prepared bi-weekly budget forecasts. In this role, one of Mr. Saxena's responsibilities included developing a new project schedule for a bridge rehab project. He developed the baseline schedule, verified work progress and performed weekly schedule updates, and led bi-weekly progress meetings.

Mr. Saxena earned his M.S. in Project Management with a specialization in Construction Management from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. During his graduate studies, Mr. Saxena also worked as a Project Controls Intern on large capital transformation projects, where he was responsible for completing the weekly schedule updates for commuter rail expansion project and metro transit system portfolios.
