Mr. Lavingiya is a construction consultant specializing in the fields of construction management, project controls and sustainability. He leads complex programs and projects in the utility space, leveraging his engineering and management skills, and provides dispute resolution and delay analysis services, leveraging his exceptional analytical abilities.
Mr. Lavingiya provides project management and controls services, including scheduling and coordination, progress tracking and cost forecasting for projects and programs in energy utility industries. He develops program-level reports and dashboards for performance monitoring and reporting.
Mr. Lavingiya has experience with construction claims analysis including schedule and delay analysis, and dispute resolution on projects across infrastructure, waste management, residential and commercial construction.
Prior to joining Exponent, Mr. Lavingiya worked as a schedule/cost analyst Intern with a large commercial general contractor based in California. During his tenure there, he worked on project controls, dispute resolution, and implementation of innovation in scheduling across projects in the organization.
Mr. Lavingiya also has international construction experience working for a large Indian infrastructure general contractor in a joint venture with Japanese developers. His experience included subcontractor management, field operations and project controls on a railroad infrastructure project.
Mr. Lavingiya earned his MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley with specialization in Engineering & Project Management. He also received the Certificate in Engineering and Business in Sustainability for pursuing his interest in the field of sustainability.
