Dr. Julio Guerrero, The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) President 2015-2016, gave a presentation today in the Exponent Natick office entitled, "Most value from R&D collaborations: Examples connecting the Energy Industry and Innovation Hubs worldwide." Following his presentation, he presented Harri Kytömaa his certificate of ASME Fellow.

Harri K. Kytömaa, Ph.D., P.E., Group Vice President, specializes in mechanical engineering and the analysis of thermal and flow processes. He applies his expertise to mechanical systems and processes and to the prevention and investigation of associated failures. Dr. Kytömaa pioneered the modeling of the acoustics of drilling fluid filled piping systems for acoustic telemetry and Measurement-While-Drilling, which was one of the enabling technologies for directional drilling. He is the recipient of the ASME Lewis F. Moody Award for best paper for his work on acoustics and two-phase flows.
