New principal scientist expands the breadth and depth of Exponent's real-world and clinical evidence capabilities with extensive epidemiological expertise
With over 30 years of experience in epidemiological research and consulting for clients, Jon Fryzek, Ph.D., M.P.H., brings extensive expertise in occupational, environmental, and pharmaco-epidemiology to Exponent. Dr. Fryzek supports pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers through epidemiological research, strengthening product development, enhancing safety protocols, and ensuring regulatory compliance. His experience includes research on cancer, medical devices, infectious diseases, rare diseases, and chemotherapy safety.
He has led extensive occupational and environmental health studies, conducting health assessments related to potential exposure to pesticides, chromium, titanium dioxide, asbestos, wood dust, solvents, and ethylene oxide. Additionally, his research includes studies on workers in the aerospace, semiconductor, metal manufacturing, and film processing and production industries. Dr. Fryzek is rejoining Exponent, having previously served as an epidemiologist in the Health Sciences practice from 2011 to 2012.
