Maribeth Anderson
Ms. Anderson is a Scientist in Exponent’s Health Sciences Center for Chemical Regulation and Food Safety. She has a comprehensive background in healthcare research and data management and analysis. Additionally, she has experience in dietary intake assessments, investigation of surgical oncology techniques and their outcomes, retrospective chart reviews, and quantitative analysis. She also offers extensive knowledge in the field of nutrition and health behavior.
Prior to joining Exponent, Maribeth worked as a researcher at an academic-based community cancer center. Most recently, she analyzed 10 years of rectal cancer surgery data in order to analyze differences in outcomes and cost between open, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. She presented these findings at the American College of Surgeons Quality and Safety Conference. She also has experience working at a nutrition technology company, reviewing and expanding their food and ingredient databases.
