Test Methodology & Engineering

The engineering and scientific consultants at Exponent’s Test and Engineering Center (TEC) assist clients with understanding and resolving their difficult problems through the conduct and evaluation of tests and demonstrations. Our existing array of facilities and equipment can address a wide variety of test requirements. When more specialized problems present themselves, customized test protocols, fixtures, and software can be developed. Exponent works with clients to develop test methods to address new safety requirements or to evaluate wholly new products.  We also develop new test equipment when commercial products are unavailable. Over the years, in-house development of data acquisition systems for motorcycle, ATV, and automotive handling test applications have been key to the success of our test programs.

Our ability to develop and execute effective test programs allows us to quickly respond to our client’s ever-changing test needs. Complex, fast-response projects are executed with accurate results due to our highly trained engineers, on-site facilities, and on-site laboratory support.
